This is
more of a supplement than a RPG but I still think it deserves a mention . This was one of
the first generic fantasy supplements and was released as a box set by Chaosium . It was
based on a series of books edited by Robert Aspirin each containing a series of short
stories by recognised & new authors about a fantasy city & its surrounding domains
. The stories dealt with the adventures & day to day lives of some of its more
colourful inhabitants with characters created by one writer appearing in the stories of
others . The city was quite well thought out & quite a sizeable place for PCs to be
let loose in . As can be gathered by the title many stories dealt with the more shady
characters in the setting . Up to Chaosium`s usual level & fully compatible with
D&D , AD&D , T&T, Runequest & Chivalry & Sorcery to name but a few. |
