An RPG
obviously based on the Star Wars phenomenon , covering the first three films as well as
the storylines presented in the comics released by Dark Horse . Very simplistic & a
whole lot of fun , this RPG used what was called by West End Games (WEG) the D6 system .
In my humble opinion the 1st edition of this game was better than the later version due to
the fact the emphasis was placed on adventure rather than technical information and stats
. Perfect for beginners and a welcome change for experienced gamers - an absolute dream to
run and highly recommended . The supplements were good but detracted somewhat from the
fun-factor of the game . These add ons were great , however , as general information books
to non - roleplayers as all the data has been approved by George Lucas himself - great if
you want to know exactly how many cannons the Death Star actually has . Unfortunately ,
WEG have now lost the licence to TSR which has seen the demise of this wonderful little
game . This is another of my top 5 games and well loved it is too…. |
