		Another New Kid On The Block and the first of the new licensed Star Trek games . Character Generation is an absolute nightmare for new players - despite gaming since 1977 I had to read it through several times - but is worth persevering with . The basic system is different but well thought out and the presentation of the main rulebook is first rate . The rules just cover Starfleet characters with no real leeway for civilians or their ilk . The hardcovered supplements for this game are also of excellent quality . Unfortunately the softbacks suffer . The content is okay but the artwork leaves a lot to be desired - Why , with all the pictures available to them (which would look fine in black & white) use average to poor line art ?
