roleplaying game from Scotland with a strange name and even stranger premise . This game
is set in the far future & could be described as a serious version of Paranoia RPG
This is a scary premise ! Gone are the governments & across the inhabited worlds exist
three known Mega Corporations , one of which is SLA Industries . Players take on the role
as trouble shooters for the company and are allocated missions to complete by them . SLA
is one big holding company which owns just about everything & as beginning
troubleshooters you just might find one of their subsidiaries (such as Mario`s Pizza , or
Rays Garbage Removal Services) to sponsor you . TV is big in this gameworld and if your
team can successfully complete a mission whilst on TV or even come to the attention of the
Media you may move up sponsors getting a better & better living for yourself .
Missions can include anything from sewer cleaning (watch those Carnivorous Pigs) to bounty
hunting but all are inherently dangerous . Different races exist in this setting , like
Ebons , and the tech level is invariably quite high . It's just a shame more releases were
not forthcoming for this one as it had the potential to be a true classic. |
