A generic
system ,like GURPS & Alternity but this time produced by West End Games . This used a
version of the system created for the Torg RPG complete with cards & D10`s . It was a
true cross genre system that worked quite well , but nowhere near as easy as GURPS for
beginners . The rulesbook was available separately or was more commonly packaged with the
world books - The name used for the different settings such as The World of Indiana Jones
, The World of Species , The World of Tank Girl and The World of Tales of the Crypt. As
can be seen the vast majority of the settings were mainline movie or TV tie-ins . All were
interchangeable with each other in true generic fashion , and a couple are covered below. |
