This baby
is a gem of a role playing game . It is based on a mixture of all the Hong Kong action
movies put into one . This is yet another game that started life as a CCG , called
Shadowfist . The system is based on using D6 , and emphasises ACTION. Players choose an
architype such as Redeemed Assassin , Gambler , Abomination , Magic Cop , Reporter , etc.
Add some points to skills of their choice & off they go . One of the most enjoyable
games to play in but one of the most difficult to keep the pace going as a gamesmaster . I
like it & is the best of its genre . The original publisher - Daedalus - went bust ,
but it has recently been picked up by Atlas Games . So far the Atlas products have looked
good with the players book coming out and The Seed of the New Flesh sourcebook . |
