A horror
RPG based on the stories of H.P.Lovecraft - a 1920`s horror/fantasy author - and his
literary circle . A top notch game still going strong today and available in a multitude
of languages . Its based on a percentile (d100) system as used in a huge number of RPGs
published at one time or another by Chaosium . The quality , even right at its first print
, was high and is in its 5th edition at the time of writing this . With this system the
players , as they learn about the horrors , slowly go insane and develop phobias and is
probably one of the few games on the market where they are really not too impressed when
they gain new spells & magic items as frequently ,when they are used , something bad
happens . This game definitely ranks as being in my top 5 games to run (but not to play
in) .
